Regulatory and policy context
- The Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022) and its Executive Regulations (Ministerial Decision 34/2024), supervised by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT). Royal Decree 68/2026 amended the law in September 2026, including a right to human review of automated decisions.
